On view until July 31st.
Gallery hours W-Sat 12-8 / Sun. 3-7 / 4 Charles Pl. Brooklyn, NY 11221
On the seventh month of this year, the moon turns full on the first day. As the sun sets and the moon rises, the Witches of Noodle Beach gather in a sacred space of divination to revere the long hot summer days and the nights illuminated by moonlight.
Whether we wander adrift on a rambling breeze or we create physical sacred space, home is a comfort that we make inside of ourselves. Inside the vast nest of nature. The world within our selves, our bodies, our wild spirits. During this full July Ripe Corn moon, a moon of dream-work, divination and meditation, we will reclaim our homes - physical and ethereal.

Where is home?
"In some way it is an internal place, a place somewhere in time rather than space, where a woman feels of one piece. Home is where a thought or feeling can be sustained instead of being interrupted or torn away from us because something else is demanding our time and attention. And through the ages women have found myriad ways to have this...Home is a sustained mood or sense that allows us to experience feelings not necessarily sustained in the mundane world...All these treasures from home are meant to be cached in the psyche for later use in the topside world...The vehicles through and by which women reach home are many: music, art, forest, ocean, spume, sunrise, solitude. These take us home to a nutritive inner world that has ideas, order, and sustenance all of its own."
