How to Be a Reader with Arthur Lipp-Bonewits

  • Tarot Society 4 Charles Place Brooklyn, NY, 11221 United States (map)

"How to Be a Reader" is a hands-on workshop on the practice of giving a psychic reading. You'll learn the how and why of taking the information in front of you and turning it into a functional reading for the client. This is not an explanation of the meanings of individual tarot cards or any other system. It is intended to give you skills applicable to any system of divination involving randomized elements. Please come prepared with a tarot deck, oracle deck, bag of random small objects, or some other tool to be used for divination. If you are a beginner, please bring a deck of some kind and the small white booklet that came with it.

Arthur Lipp-Bonewits is the real deal. Born and raised a Pagan, Arthur grew up watching both his parents read tarot at psychic fairs and Pagan festivals. At the age of 12, he gave his first reading using a deck—and a system—he had designed himself. He now reads traditional tarot and highly modern astrology. In addition, he communicates with archangels, deities, and spirit guides daily, and channels their messages to those who seek their guidance.

Arthur does not consider himself a fortune-teller, and only occasionally does he get a glimpse of the future. He believes that the road ahead is best walked with a greater understanding of one's past, present, and self, and focuses his work on those aspects instead.
